Geely brought a new crossover for testsSeptember 1, 2020
The car was dressed in a dense camouflage layer. However, the pictures still managed to discern the features of the new Preface family.
Geely is testing a completely new crossover model. Photos of the novelty, dressed in a dense layer of camouflage, shared the portal “Chinese Cars”. Despite the masking layer, design elements of the new Geely Preface sedan are clearly visible in the front end. It is possible that in the near future we will be able to see a new Preface brand, which will include several models at once.
From the outside, only the radiator grille can be clearly seen – its vertical slats give out the new Preface brand. At the same time, the crossover turned out to be much larger than the sedan. It is even more difficult to draw conclusions about the interior at the moment – the photo is very dark, and the interior design looks unfinished. However, it is worth noting the huge screen of the infotainment complex, which stretches across the entire front panel.
This performance fits well with the new Preface concept.
Most likely, the new car will be based on the CMA platform. It is noteworthy that the new Geely Tugella crossover will be sold on this platform in Russia.
Meanwhile, the Chinese brand Haval began testing three crossovers at once. The most interesting is the first hybrid car in the history of the brand. Such a model will be built on the basis of the popular Haval H6 SUV.
