Fully Revealed The Most Productive Porsche 911March 3, 2020
As expected, the novelty has a 3.8 liter turbocharged opposer. But Porsche notes that they have developed a new engine, although they do not declassify that it was built on the basis of the power unit from the current 911 Carrera.
Due to a thoroughly revised turbocharging system and another injection, the engine produces 50 hp. and 70 Nm more than its predecessor – that is, 650 hp. and 800 Nm, and is paired with an 8-band robot.
As a result, both the coupe and the 911 Turbo S convertible can accelerate to the first 100 kph in 2.7 seconds and accelerate to 330 km / h as much as possible.
Compared to its predecessor, the Porsche Turbo S has become a bit wider: the front track has increased by 42 mm, the rear track by 10 mm. In addition, the sports car received a variety of wheels. In front are 20-inch wheels with 255/35 tires, 21-inch wheels with 315/30 tires are mounted on the rear axle.
The exterior of the coupe has already been revealed in general, but some details have been kept secret. The German brand confirmed, for example, that the sports car received active dampers, a front air-spoiler and an overall rear wing, as well as impressive air intakes in the rear wings.
As standard, the Porsche 911 Turbo S is equipped with an adaptive PASM chassis, a sports exhaust system with control valves and all-wheel drive. Options for the interior include trim from the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, seats with adjustable 18 positions, an infotainment complex with a 10.9-inch display and a Bose audio system, GT steering wheel and much more.
