From the pickup Mercedes X-Class made a house on wheelsJanuary 5, 2018
In the line-up of Mercedes-Benz there are already some models that are oriented to the travel enthusiasts. For example, van Marco Polo. However, the manufacturer does not stop and is ready to offer customers a new camper built on the basis of the X-Class pickup.
For the sake of fairness, let’s say that the presented practical car is not a product of the German brand plant, as it is the development of the German company Tischer, which specializes in “turning pickups into recreational vehicles.”
Currently, the company offers various accessories for models such as Volkswagen Amarok, Land Rover Defender, Nissan Navara, Toyota Hilux, Isuzu D-Max, Ford Ranger and Dodge Ram. Do not be surprised that the German firm has prepared various “chips” for the premium pick-up Mercedes-Benz X-Class, as it is known to be based on Nissan Navara and Renault Alaskan.
In particular, interested customers can purchase a large enough superstructure, the height of which is almost two meters. The kemper comes with plenty of space (including beds) and a kitchen with a gas stove for cooking meals on the way. In addition, there is a folding washbasin, toilet and built-in bathroom (shower).
In addition, for the new premium pick-up Mercedes-Benz X-Class, a specially developed VanEssa module is available, which includes a washbasin and other accessories, also compartments for your items. Its mass is 250 kilograms. And, you do not have to worry about the damage caused by water, because the load compartment is covered with a teak tree, reminiscent of the deck of the yacht.
The public premiere of the modified Mercedes-Benz X-Class Camper Van Conversion pick-up will take place from 13 to 21 January 2018 during the CMT (Caravan, Motor, Touristik) show in Stuttgart.
