Fresh details about the new Nissan X-Trail become known.November 25, 2019
Nissan Corporation continues to prepare for the release of a new generation of the X-Trail crossover, which has retained its outdated appearance since 2013. New details about the exterior, interior and features of the new Nissan X-Trail were declassified by CarsCoops.
According to the foreign portal, a stylistically new model will become related with the younger “brothers” represented by the latest generation Nissan Kicks and Juke, having acquired the V-Motion radiator grille and “2-story” lighting equipment with thin LED DRL strips. The taillights will get a boomerang shape, and the feed itself will be sharper and more geometric.
Significant changes must occur in the interior of the novelty. So, there will appear a modern multimedia system with a large touch screen that supports navigation, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other functions. According to insiders, the new X-Trail will also acquire a digital instrument panel and a set of active safety systems Nissan ProPILOT, a lane keeping system and other electronic assistants.
The line of engines of the new product is likely to be represented by a 172-horsepower 2.5-liter engine in combination with a CVT and a 2.0-liter turbo-four with a capacity of 251 hp. The all-wheel drive system, alas, will again be optional.
It is currently unknown when the next-generation Nissan X-Trail will debut, however, according to informed sources, they should announce a new model in the near future. The start of sales, respectively, will take place no earlier than the second half of next year.
