Fresh details about the new generation of Chery Tiggo 8May 26, 2019
The manufacturer not only refined the exterior of its large crossover, but also updated the color palette, including two new body shades.
The new version of Chery Tiggo 8 will differ from its predecessor in several ways at once. The first thing that buyers will pay attention to is the exterior. The crossover will receive an expanded palette of shades, which will be diluted with stylish colors “Provence Violet” and “Rhine Blue”. Also, with the change of generation, the “eight” will acquire optics on LEDs (LED steel and taillights), a modified grille with a spectacular dotted line, as well as chrome inserts in the front and twin tailpipes of the exhaust system. But the size of the car has not changed.
In the process of updating its crossover, Chery paid special attention to interior design and the list of available options.
Digital dashboard got a huge screen, which in size exceeds the “soaring” touchscreen multimedia. The climate control panel became touch-sensitive, and even the center console received a leather trim. Add to this a large number of drawers and compartments for storing useful details. Options include wireless charging for gadgets, all-round cameras, adaptive cruise control, automatic braking system and much more.
The engine range is represented by a 1.6-liter engine, working in tandem with a seven-speed “automatic”, a 200-horsepower 1.6-liter turbodiesel (it relies 6AKPP or manual gearbox), as well as a 1.5-liter gasoline engine. The new generation Chery Tiggo 8 will be released on the home market already on May 28th. Then the prices will be made public.
