Fresh details about the new Ferrari Purosangue SUVSeptember 16, 2019
Ferrari is in full swing over the first SUVs of the brand, which will open up a completely different path for the Italian brand. The novelty will receive the name Purosangue and will be released in three years.
In 2022, Ferrari organizes the debut of its Purosangue SUV, whose name translates as purebred. This SUV, according to developers, will not be like any of the modern luxury SUVs. At the same time, the novelty will be able to boast excellent dynamic characteristics. Among the main rivals of Ferrari Purosangue, experts call Aston Martin DBX, Bentley Bentayga, Lamborghini Urus and Rolls-Royce Cullinan. This SUV is one of those 15 models that Ferrari promised to release in 2023.
All of them will be based on two new architectures, allowing you to create two separate model lines: one for supercars with an average engine location, for example, the F8 Tributo; the other is for cars of the GT family with a front and middle engine. The new SUV also belongs to this group.
Both architectures can use V6, V8 and V12 engines, including those with a hybrid component. The transmission is automatic, and the type of drive is rear or full. In addition, there are various options for clearance and interior layout. Recall that the name “Purosangue” also applies to the family of new GT models that Ferrari is planning to release over the next four years.
