Founder of Formula E racing bets on the development of electric carsFebruary 14, 2019
The founder of the Formula E series of electric races becomes a shareholder and chairman of the newly merged company, EV Network.
Today, February 14, 2019, Alejandro Agag, founder of the FIA Formula E series of races, in which only models with an electric motor take part, became chairman of the board of shareholders of EV Network, together with its founders, the Motorsport Network company.
I note that the EV Network is a large company to create a network of charging stations for electric vehicles. The EV Network is a combination of two industry-leading platforms InsideEVs and MYEV.com. InsideEVs.com is a market-leading independent website for content for electric vehicles that is growing rapidly in North America, and in 2019 a major global territorial expansion is planned. MYEV.com is the first trading platform for electric vehicles with more than 370 dealers.
“The business will be scaled geographically and functionally, following a similar multilingual single model CMS (content management system), which is successfully implemented by Motorsport Network, whose automotive platforms cover the whole world.
Alejandro will also assume the position of EV Network chairman, using his knowledge and experience in the field of electric vehicles to strengthen the organization’s management team. “Consumer and industry demand for reputable marketplaces to work in this sector has never been higher, so creating an EV network makes sense. But what really worries me is the investment and growth plans to make this business global, to create a powerful center in the electric car sector, and the Motorsport Network has perseverance, skills and a rich track record for that. That’s why I agreed to take the position of EV Network chairman to help implement this plan, ”said Alejandro.
