Formula E debut season sees new electric car from PorscheAugust 30, 2019

According to representatives of the automaker, the idea of this project appeared at Porsche a long time ago. It was also noted that the manufacturing technology of the car was taken from the Porsche Taycan.
Now the brand plans to test the car before starting the pre-season tests. This will happen in October on one of the tracks of Valencia.
Porsche Taycan will be shown very soon at the official presentation – it will be held on September 4. Not so long ago, the brand reported on the details of the achievements of the car at the Nurburgring. So, it took an electric car 7 minutes 42 seconds to overcome 20.6 kilometers. Closer to the finish, the Taycan was able to reach a speed of 259 km / h.
The serial model has three modifications: Taycan Turbo, Taycan S and Taycan. The basic version of the rear-wheel drive car has acquired a battery of 80 kilowatt hours and an electric power plant, the power of which will be either 326 or 381 horsepower.
Version 4S received two engines, which in general give out 435 or 490 horsepower. She will receive a battery with a capacity of 96 kilowatt hours. The Turbo variant will have a power of 629 horsepower.
At the moment, it is known that the automaker has collected about thirty thousand pre-orders for the new product.
