At the moment, among foreign media this car has received the unofficial name Baby Bronco. It is not excluded that the image of this particular car was shown during the Ford dealer conference in the United States. The names Timberline and Maverick can also be used for this car.
All information about the new product is kept secret. According to Motor1, the car will be built on the same platform as the new generation Ford Focus. A number of technical solutions crossover also borrow from the next Escape.
The original Ford Puma was a compact coupe based on the Fiesta. Car sales began in 1997. In 2001, Ford decided to stop production of this model due to low demand. The heir to this car of the American company was not released.
As for the Ford Bronco, then this crossover will be built on the basis of a new generation Ford Ranger pickup, which debuted this year at the Detroit auto show. The model will be built at the plant in Michigan. Jeep Wrangler will be the main competitor of the car.
