Ford will release three new models in Europe by 2024June 28, 2019
In parallel with the release of new products, the American brand will be engaged in updating cars from the existing model range. All this fits into the framework of the new business plan of the brand in the European market.
By 2024, the American company Ford plans to offer three new models to European motorists at once. Along the way, the company’s management will update its current model line. According to preliminary forecasts, the brand will focus all its resources on creating the perfect family car. At the same time, the announced new products do not have prototypes yet. And even names.
Some auto experts suggest that in the next four years, Europeans will have access to the Ford Puma compact crossover, which was completely “declassified” in the middle of this week. In the Ford model range, the novelty will be located between the EcoSport and Kuga models. In addition, the expected appearance of an electric SUV, and the third new product, in all likelihood, will be a fully electric or hybrid minivan.
We also add that the new business plan of the brand implies not only an upgrade of the model range, but also a reduction in production with a consequent decrease in jobs. It is expected that by next year the company will reduce about 12 thousand workers worldwide.
Earlier, the German company BMW introduced new top versions of its X5 and X7 crossovers.
