Ford will release an electric crossover in the fall of 2020September 6, 2019
Ford has released official “spy” photos of its long-awaited Mustang-style electric crossover.
They confirmed the details of the new electric crossover. Obviously shown in prototype form, it is not very attractive and looks like a powerful version of the previous generation Escape. It is expected that the crossover only on electric traction will provide mileage of at least 483 km.
The company said that the crossover will be released in the fall of 2020. Experts suggest that perhaps this is a production model, slightly veiled by the concept. The company believes that it will be able to debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November this year. Nothing is said about the technical characteristics yet, but, according to company representatives, the new crossover has maintenance costs about 38% less than the 2020 version of Escape.
Additional information will be published later. Customers will be able to find and pay for the charge using the FordPass app. Ford has reported extreme conditions under which the electric crossover is being tested. The model is being tested at the Smithers Winter Test Center in Michigan. The company also emphasized that the battery was tested at -40 ° C.
Ford Big Nugget previously introduced the Van Caring transit van concept. In the middle of the car is a built-in toilet, washbasin and shower. Inside the campsite, a complete living set is installed, including a gas stove and a freezer.
