Ford unveils shocking teaser for special Mustang Mach-EJuly 21, 2020
The company’s sports arm, Ford Performance, has released a teaser image of a special variant of the all-electric Mustang Mach-E.
A few days ago, the new Ford Mustang Mach-E electric car was spotted drifting at the site at the North Carolina Automotive Research Center, and today the division of the American brand has published a very interesting teaser of its new product.
Given the fact that people like Vaughn Gitten Jr. and Ken Block were featured in this teaser from Ford Performance posted on Twitter, it’s clear that they were somehow involved in the project.
While this is clearly the Mustang Mach-E, it does have a lot of individual features such as a custom body kit, a unique bonnet, massive aerodynamic grooves on the front bumper and a large splitter.
In all likelihood, this tire-smoking Mach-E will get an upgraded version of the all-electric powertrain that comes standard on the model.
It remains unclear how far Ford will push its performance and what plans it has for this vehicle. If we had guessed, then Ford would probably use it as a promotional tool to spark interest in the electric SUV. We won’t have to wait long to see what exactly the brand has prepared as the car will be unveiled tomorrow.
As a reminder, prices for the road-going Ford Mustang Mach-E start at $ 43,895 in the US. For the execution of California Route 1 and GT, customers will pay $ 51,800 and $ 60,500, respectively.
