Ford Transit 2020 received new security technology and a number of improvements.
March 5, 2019As part of the update of the model, the vans of 2020 model year received a whole set of electronic assistants, active safety systems, modified engines and a new “automatic” on 10 steps.
The updated line of Ford Transit vans 2020 model year, regardless of the cargo or passenger version, received a number of new features. The most notable option is the availability of intelligent all-wheel drive Ford. The system is able to use only front-wheel drive in normal mode to save fuel, or connect all the wheels, depending on the need.
Changes have also occurred in the engine range. For lovers of diesel versions, a new 2.0-liter turbo diesel EcoBlue is available, replacing the current five-cylinder version. In addition, the base version will now have a gasoline 3.5-liter PFDi V6 engine installed. The 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 remains an option for those looking for a little more power, and the new Ford 10-speed automatic transmission works with all the engines offered. But the diesel versions with all-wheel drive will not.
In the design, the model will receive small restyled changes without cardinal intervention in the body. This means that we will see a new grille, other bumpers and revised optics.
Prices for Transit 2020 are still unknown. Ford says the new van will go on sale this fall.
