Teaser of hybrid Ford Mustang demonstrated in the video with Brian Cranston
In the new Ford commercial, titled “The Future Is Built,” the company showed a picture of the new Mustang. It, apparently, hints at the appearance in the model line of a hybrid modification, rumors about which have been around for a long time. In the video, the actor Brian Cranston, known for the TV series “Breaking Bad”.
The teaser shows a car with a luminous “Mustang” logo, new LED headlamps and a front end without a grille. “Closed” design of the “nose” is usually used on electric vehicles and other eco-friendly cars.
It is assumed that the new generation Ford Mustang will appear in 2020-2021. The sports car will get a modular platform that will allow you to create all-wheel drive modifications, but will retain the front-engine layout. Basic versions of the car will still be rear wheel drive.
The appearance of the hybrid “Mustang” became known in 2017. Then the company announced its intention to release 13 cars with electrified power plants within five years, including, in addition to a sports car, an F-150 pickup, a compact electric crossover with a 480 km power reserve and a hybrid with autopilot.
