Ford showed the extreme version of the pickup truck Ranger for EuropeAugust 21, 2018
Ford has presented an extreme pickup Ranger Raptor for the European market. The car premiered in Cologne, Germany, and its sales start early next year.
The pickup is equipped with a two-liter four-cylinder diesel unit with two turbines, developing 213 hp and 500 Nm of torque. The engine works with a new 10-speed automatic transmission.
Ford Ranger Raptor received a reinforced chassis from Ford Performance of high-strength steel, designed for high-speed off-road driving. Front mounted shock absorbers Fox Racing, and rear applied spring-hydraulic suspension with integrated traction Watt. In addition, the engineers used two-piston brakes, and BF Goodrich tireless tires.
Ford Ranger Raptor has a system of adaptation to specific road conditions with six modes of operation: normal, sporty, for gravel, dirt, and a mode for movement on stones and racing mode Baja.
The car is equipped with an information and entertainment complex SYNC 3 with a navigator, voice control, and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interfaces.
