Ford introduced the Figo Freestyle crossover for the South African market. According to the press service of the brand, the new product is based on the usual Figo hatchback.
The new model features increased clearance up to 190 mm, a new front bumper, 15-inch alloy wheels and wider wheel arches with black moldings.
Cross also has underbody protection, standard roof rails, as well as a Freestyle logo and stickers on the lower sections of the doors. In the color palette of the novelty, which includes Diamond White, Smoke Gray, Ruby Red, Moondust Silver and White Gold, a new unique shade of Canyon Ridge has appeared.
The interior remained unchanged in appearance, while now exclusive trim and seat upholstery options were available, and a new gear lever appeared here.
The machine in the initial configuration of Trend is equipped with a docking station with Bluetooth, USB, AUX and a smartphone holder, a remote central lock, power windows and much more. In turn, the Titanium version adds the Ford MyKey system, a multimedia system with a 6.5-inch screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, a start-stop button, automatic climate control, light and rain sensors.
Figo Freestyle received a 3-cylinder 1.5-liter gasoline engine from the eponymous hatchback with a capacity of 122 hp. and 150 Nm of torque. Together with the motor, a front-wheel drive system and a 5-speed manual transmission function.
