Ford Ranger 2019-2020 will receive three off-road “package”June 30, 2020
The American automaker has announced three off-road versions for its mid-size Ford Ranger pickup model 2019-2020. Sales will begin in August this year.
Various tuning companies offer many options in every way to improve the capabilities of the mid-size Ford Ranger pickup truck. You can increase the power of its engine, as well as significantly “pump” its off-road capabilities. Ford also offers some modifications for this model. Now, the automaker has announced three off-road versions for its pickup truck.
Available for Ranger in 2019 and 2020, all-wheel drive, off-road kits offer three levels of hardware, software, and aesthetic updates.
All three sets are included in the standard equipment for “off-road” pumping, which includes the installation of Fox shock absorbers, the new 17-inch gray Dyno rims and the drawing of special graphics on the cargo platform and windshield.
Here is the complete list of equipment for each of the three versions (in addition to the above):
Performance Level 1:
FOX Tuned by Ford Performance shock absorbers, internal floating piston single-tube front and rear shock absorbers 2.0 Performance Series, tuned by Ford Performance engineers.
Performance Level 2 (on top of package 1):
Calibration of the engine up to 315 hp, installation of tires BFGoodrich KO2 265 / 70-17, installation of a set of “hard” fog lights, blue tow hooks, Ford Performance license plate frame made of stainless steel.
Performance Level 3 (on top of the “package” 1 and 2):
Additional LED lighting on the roof, red towing hooks, Ford Performance from ARB with front bumper, cargo platform frame, more efficient exhaust.
“Our goal is to inspire customers to travel by providing them with the ultimate in off-road driving,” comments Eric Sin, Global Director of Ford Vehicle Personalization.
Orders for the first two off-road “packages” will begin to be accepted from August this year, and the flagship “package” will go on sale next summer. Prices are as follows: $2495. (before installation) for Performance Level 1, 1, 4 495 dollars. for Performance Level 2 and 8,995 dollars. for Performance Level 3.
