Ford Mustang serial electric crossover spotted on trialsNovember 8, 2019
Photo spies during a road test saw the production model of the Ford electric crossover.
Images of prototypes of the electric Ford Mustang appeared on the network, but the debut real Mustang EV, or rather, inspired by the Mustang EV, will be shown on November 17 on the eve of the Los Angeles auto show. More than a week is left before the debut, and recently, photo spies noticed on the roads a production model that has only a thin masking film.
Here, of course, there is a traditional Mustang style, starting with a grille in the front and thin headlights in the corners. The roof line is also similar, but not identical to the coupe, and the taillights with three stripes are clearly visible under camouflage. Of course, the film hides small details of the appearance, but in general, to a significant extent gives an idea of the electric crossover.
But there is another feature that holds the secret for Ford Mustang fans. The logo in the central part of the grille is hidden by a black ribbon and, even maximizing the images, it is impossible to say exactly what is there. Is this a classic blue oval shape badge? Is this the legendary Mustang horse? This is something new?
It should be emphasized that this will be the debut Ford production electric car. Regarding the crossover, it certainly looks sporty, but only time will tell whether the Ford strategy, which is aimed at applying the Mustang pedigree, will pay off.
