In Los Angeles, the premiere of the new Ford Mustang Mach-E, an American-made electric crossover inspired by the legendary Mustang, premiered.
We previously wrote that Ford officially introduced its new electric crossover, which was even praised by Elon Musk. But our journalists managed to lively evaluate the model and sit inside.
It is known that the basic modification of Select will be equipped with an electric motor providing 255 hp. power and 415 Nm of torque in a configuration with rear-wheel drive and 582 Nm of torque with optional all-wheel drive. Ford expects the MachWE Select RWD to cover 370 km without recharging, and the AWD model offers 338 km mileage.
The model with maximum range will be Mach-E California Rt. 1, which is able to cover 483 km. This is a RWD-only model with an electric motor producing 282 hp. and a torque of 415 Nm, the cost of the model is 52,400 dollars.
The company also showed a “charged” version of the model – the Mustang Mach-E GT, which accelerates to 100 km / h in 3 seconds. Power and torque levels for this version, designed only for all-wheel drive, have not yet been announced, but the range is estimated at 378 km. The GT will cost between $ 60,500 and will be the last to be launched in the spring of 2021.
