The American company is doing its best to celebrate the Bronco’s birthday in a dignified manner, as Ford engineers have created at least 5 concepts to highlight the open-minded character of the SUV.

With the announcement that there will be over 200 factory accessories for the big Bronco and around 100 for the Bronco Sport, the automaker is now showing how the full-size model can be modified to suit different needs. So, the big Bronco was turned into a two-door concept car Trail Rig based on the Badlands version. This modification has many nifty features, including pipe doors and a winch with an impressive 4.5 tonne pulling capacity. The SUV has also been fitted with a Yakima roof rack, which also houses an LED chandelier.

Next comes the Bronco Fishing Guide concept based on the Outer Banks version. As the name suggests, it has been designed for both hobbyists and professional anglers and accommodates a Yakima rod holder and roof rack. The four-door SUV boasts a convertible top allowing for an immersive outdoor fishing experience, a safari bar and additional lighting.

Based on the “sporty” Bronco Sport, the Trail Rig prototype was created, which received a number of Yakima elements, including a jack and ax holders, crossbars, mountings for evacuation / off-road equipment and a roof rack. Ford Performance provided escape jerry cans and boards, as well as a suspension lift and LED off-road lights.

As for the Bronco Sport Tow RZR concept, it received a Class II Ford Trailer Tow package for towing the Polaris RZR XP Turbo 1000. It was also equipped with a cargo rack and Yakima roof rack for additional storage.

Last but not least, the fifth concept is called the Bronco Sport Off-Roadeo Adventure Patrol. It shows what the vehicle will be like for the team that will take part in the Off-Roadeo off-road vehicle event hosted by Ford. One of the upgrade packages will debut next summer in Austin, Texas and will be available to owners of the large Bronco in two and four-door trims and Bronco Sport in Badlands trim.
