At the beginning of this year, Ford, as part of the Geneva Motor Show, introduced a restyled version of the flagship SUV Edge, and now began selling the car in Europe. and paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system.
Also, customers will be able to purchase Edge with diesel versions simpler – a 2-liter engine with 147 hp, an 8-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, as well as a 187-strong version of the same engine with a 6-speed manual and all-wheel drive.
The main innovations in security systems are the addition of active cruise control with Stop&Go function and vehicle monitoring system in a lane at speeds up to 200 km / h. Also available is a frontal collision avoidance system, a system for monitoring blind spots, a system for recognizing pedestrians and road signs.
Note that in Russia, the Ford Edge is not for sale – we have Ecosport crossover, Kuga and Explorer SUVs available.
