Ford’s new Troller TX4 boasts impressive off-road driving capabilities. The novelty received an automatic transmission and a 200-horsepower diesel engine.
Ford introduced a new SUV with a body on the frame and the necessary design features to successfully conquer even the most fierce off-road. No, we do not mean the revived Bronco SUV. This is a brand new Troller TX4 Automatic – this car is exclusive to the South American market.
It is worth noting that the TX4 is a more productive version of the usual Ford Troller. The standard equipment includes an air intake with a pipe (snorkel), side steps, steel bumpers at both ends, LED headlights, Pirelli Scorpion MTR 245 / 70R17 tires. The SUV comes exclusively with a dark blue front, and the rest of the body is available in Trancoso Brown, Maragogi Green and Frosted Silver.
Under the hood is a 3.2-liter five-cylinder turbodiesel that offers 200 horsepower (470 Nm).
As a transmission, a 6-speed automatic transmission with a two-speed transfer case is proposed. Naturally, the SUV comes with all-wheel drive.
Inside the Troller TX4 also looks brutal. A button in the base of the center console controls the rear differential lock. There is also a dual-zone automatic climate control. The standard equipment of the novelty includes a prepared panel for installing an off-road navigation device. There is a separate 6.75-inch screen infotainment system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
