Ford introduced the Ranger TJIN Edition concept in Los Angeles
November 21, 2019The American company, together with designers Neil and Colin Tjin, presented their next project.
Earlier, at the 2017 SEMA show, the F-150 Tjin Edition duo concept was presented, which is a cream-colored street car with a lowered suspension and a full-size pickup with pink gold wheels. Then, for the 2018 SEMA Show, designers created the Ford Mustang EcoBoost Tjin Edition, which was dark purple, omitted, and again got pink gold wheels. In addition, for many years, Tjin has launched the Ford Edge, Focus ST and Fiesta ST. Now, for the Los Angeles Auto Show, designers have unveiled the 2019 Ford Ranger Tjin Edition concept.
The Ranger Tjin Edition 2019 received an air suspension lowered 8 inches in front and 9 inches in the rear. Falken tires were also installed on regular 20-inch Rotiform LHR-M three-piece wheels, with a set of Baer six-piston calipers and 14-inch rotors behind them.
Under the hood, the 2.3-liter EcoBoost features the Roush Performance inlet and Ford Performance exhaust cap with rear cap and differential. There is also a yellow battery and RPG front intercooler.
A number of stylistic decisions were provided by the Vaughn Gittin Jr RTR workshop. But most of all, the bright yellow body color and the wooden floor of the cargo platform are striking. There is no information on the cost of such revision.
