The company Ford introduced a concept electric truck called F-Vision Future Truck. The public premiere of the prototype took place at an exhibition of commercial equipment in German Hanover.

The experimental wagon was developed by Ford Otosan, a joint venture of the Turkish conglomerate Koc Holding and Ford Corporation. According to the creators, the novelty design was inspired by superheroes from the comics Marvel. In particular, the aerodynamic cab of the truck resembles the helmet of the Iron Man.

Ford F-Vision Future Truck received a fully electric power unit and autopilot of the fourth level. This means that the wagon is able to completely move independently in certain areas and routes under normal weather conditions. In this case, external controls must be provided, so the machine can be controlled manually.

Such a truck could compete with Tesla Semi, a serial version of which will appear in 2019. According to preliminary data, the truck will be equipped with four units, the return of which is not yet specified. Without cargo, the wagon can accelerate from a place to 100 km / h in five seconds, and with a trailer weighing 40 tons – in 20 seconds. The top version of the truck can drive without recharging the batteries to 1000 kilometers.
