An updated version of the Ford F-600 commercial truck will go on sale in the middle of next year. The car received some important changes.
The American Ford brand has great news for its commercial customers, as the company introduces the new F-600 Super Duty family. New to join already updated versions of some other models. The F-600 will go on sale in mid-2020.
The new F-600 Super Duty is a class 6 medium tonnage pickup, but with a smaller class 5 landing pad.
It is reported that in the current model range of the brand new product will be located between the existing F-550 and F-650. The F-600 is the same size as the F-550, but has improvements such as a reinforced powerplant, an upgraded chassis, which allows an increase in the amount of cargo carried (GVWR technology).
Ford is focused on customers who need the functions of a class 6 tractor in their truck, but without large dimensions. The F-600 comes with three engines: 7.3-liter V8 petrol, 6.2-liter V8 diesel, and 6.7-liter diesel engine Power Stroke. All three are available with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Customers can choose between 4×2 and 4×4 transmission configurations.
The F-650, F-750, E-Series, F-53, and F-59 now come standard with an anti-skid system, a start-up assist system, and automatic headlights. In addition, the list of additional functions includes adaptive cruise control, electronic stability control, lane departure warning, driver warning system and automatic high-beam headlights.
