Ford introduced a special version of the ST-Line for the Crossover Edge
May 26, 2020The American mid-size Ford Edge crossover is now available for order in the new ST-Line, in which the car looks more sporty. Engines for the new items will be offered standard.
Do you like the look of the high-performance Ford Edge ST crossover, but are you not interested in paying extra money to have a 2.7-liter 335 hp EcoBoost V6 under its hood? Now Ford offers a new version of the ST-Line, the essence of which is to offer the appearance of the ST-version of the crossover, but without additional performance.
“The Edge ST continues to take it to the next level with amazing styling, high performance and cutting-edge technology,” said Ford Marketing Manager Craig Patterson. “But some of our customers want an aggressive style from the ST-version of the model and do not need much power. It was for them that we created the Edge ST-Line. ”
Under the hood, the Edge ST-Line houses the familiar 2.0-liter 250-hp EcoBoost four-cylinder engine coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission, which in turn transmits torque to the front wheels.
This is the same engine and gearbox configuration as other Edge trim levels, but the ST-Line boasts a monochromatic exterior finish with body-colored bumpers, black moldings, lower trim, fog lights, LED lights and 20-inch wheels.
The Edge ST-Line comes with Ford Sync 3 infotainment system with support for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Alexa voice assistant, as well as wireless charging. Optional equipment includes a Ford Co-Pilot360 driver assistance package, as well as four-wheel drive. For those who still need extra power, an updated Performance Performance Brake Package is available.
The price of the Ford Edge ST-Line 2020 model year crossover will start at $ 38,100. The novelty is already available for order.
