Ford handed out bracelets to workers to maintain social distanceApril 17, 2020
New gadgets that help keep social distance during the coronavirus pandemic are being tested by volunteers at the brand’s Michigan factory.
Ford has created special vibrating bracelets to help you keep your distance. The effectiveness of the new device is already being tested by a group of volunteers of the brand’s plant in Michigan. About this writes the Bloomberg agency. Such a bracelet by vibration warns its owner about the violation of a safe distance. He begins to vibrate when the distance between the two bracelets reaches six pounds. This is a little over 1.8 meters. This is the distance, according to the rules in force in the USA, people should be guided in the fight against the spread of COVID-19.
If the experiment is considered successful, Ford will organize a mass production of bracelets as soon as all the enterprises of the brand have fully resumed their work. This will happen, according to the most optimistic forecasts, in mid-May.
Recall, during the coronavirus pandemic, Ford stopped producing cars. Instead of machines, several gloom enterprises in America produce respirators, ventilators, and other equipment that physicians need.
