Ford Focus RS: off-road hatchback that we deserveJanuary 12, 2019
The network has a new render Ford Focus RS from the design studio Rain Prisk. The car is a hatchback with huge wheels and high ground clearance. And we must admit that the model looks really cool.
At first glance it may seem that the picture simply shows the Ford Focus RS on huge wheels, and in fact – this is true. But a more detailed study of the render from Rain Prisk gives an understanding that the changes are much greater. First of all, you should pay attention to the wings, or rather, what is left of them. Also, the car received a more off-road front bumper with a powerful lining, and a virtually absent rear overhang.
In addition, a whole series of LED spotlights is installed in front of the grille. However, the render is the result of the imagination of the designers, not the engineers. Apparently, the air from the narrow slits of the remaining grille is not enough to cool a powerful 2.3-liter turbo engine.
And no matter how cool the model looks on this renderer, a number of technical questions arise regarding the suspension, as well as the re-equipment of the body, to put these huge wheels.
Meanwhile, Hyundai introduced more renderers of the walking Elevate Concept car. According to South Korean engineers, this is how they see the vehicles of the future.
