Ford F-Series Super Duty Gets Brutal Off-Road VersionJune 27, 2019
According to representatives of the Ford company, their new pickup in the off-road version is the most “passable” car of all that it has ever done. Deliveries will begin later this year.
The last time Ford introduced the Tremor pickup truck was in the 2014 model year, when the previous generation of the full-size F-150 got a somewhat sporty version with various changes inside and out. Now the “blue oval” returns this nickname, but uses a different approach, as now Tremor serves as an additional off-road package for large trucks F-250 and F-350.
Ford has created what he calls the “most capable Super Duty SUV ever.” The Tremor Package is available for the XLT, Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum. The car in this case gets 35-inch off-road tires.
These are “the biggest tires adapted for the pickup and necessary for it in severe conditions of operation”, and they are completed with 18-inch rims to order, made in matte black color.
Compared to the regular versions of the same F-250 or F-350, the Tremor trucks boast a 2-inch front lift, as well as a more generous ground clearance of 27.4 centimeters. Super Duty Tremor also boasts the leading waterway of 83.82 cm in the segment and the best entry and exit angles – 31.65 and 24.51 degrees respectively.
Customers will be able to order the package either with a brand new 7.3-liter V8 gasoline engine or with a third-generation 6.7-liter PowerStroke turbojet. Both are connected to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Cars will also receive a Dana limited slip differential in the front and a differential lock with electronic engagement “on the go” at the rear.
