Ford and Lincoln dealers recently reported that the release of the three-row Explorer and Aviator is delayed due to “manufacturing issues.”

According to the American press, Ford sent several Explorer and Lincoln Aviator, released at the Chicago plant, to a production site in Michigan, hoping that they could solve the problems that arose in the new models.

Meanwhile, the company denies serious problems. “Updating long-standing models based on completely new platforms is standard industry practice,” said Ford spokeswoman Jennifer Flake. Another company spokesman, Kelly Felker, said that “all of our new Ford Explorers and Lincoln Aviators are undergoing additional checks. They will help to make sure that the models are assembled with the highest quality that our customers expect. ”
