Ford electric crossover was shown in the original drawingsOctober 25, 2019
The model’s public debut will take place on November 18
The network has published a three-dimensional model of the body of the Ford electric SUV in Mustang style, whose debut is scheduled for November 18. The author of the publication claims that this is a screenshot of the original CAD files. Documents received from insiders in the company.
Judging by the image, the new Ford crossover really resembles a Mustang. This is especially noticeable in the front of the body. There is no apparent similarity behind this, except for the lantern pattern. The profile SUV that can be named Mach-E looks like a Tesla Model Y. The render author is confident that 98 percent of the Ford electric car will look exactly like this.
The preliminary specification of the electrocrossover states that without recharging, it will be able to travel up to 600 kilometers over the WLTP measurement cycle. In fact, power reserve will depend on driving style and external factors such as weather.
In early September, Ford posted photos and videos of the crossover tests. The company said that the model will be faster, as expected by Mustang, and cheaper in service than machines with ICE. It is estimated that operating costs in five years will be 38 percent less than for the Escape, known in Russia as the Kuga.
Pre-orders in Europe will be accepted by the end of the year. Deliveries are scheduled for early 2020.
