Ford Edge gets a new multimedia systemOctober 29, 2020
The 2021 Ford Edge now comes standard with a new 12-inch infotainment system that replaces the 8-inch display.
The infotainment complex also received the new Sync 4A software instead of Sync 3, as well as an integrated navigation system.
It is noted that the large-screen multimedia system on the Edge allows owners to split the display into windows. In turn, the software also has support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It is worth saying that the advanced technology even supports voice recognition.
The interior of the new Edge also has two additional USB ports, now there are four. In turn, one of the new ports supports USB-C. In addition, the color range of the model was replenished with such shades as Carbonized Gray and Lithium Gray. Along with this there is a choice of nine wheel options from 18 to 21 inches.
As a reminder, there were rumors in June that Ford was considering ditching the Edge in 2023 and replacing it with a new car.
In addition, recently it became known that the Hennessey tuning company is modernizing the Ford Bronco SUV. It should be emphasized that in total, the studio’s specialists are going to build 24 modified SUVs.
