Ford dealers have shown a prototype of the new BroncoMarch 26, 2019
Ford used an annual meeting with dealers as a platform for the presentation of the new Bronco. The conference participants showed an early prototype of the two-door version, promising that the SUV will also have an option with four doors and a modification to the pickup truck body.
According to Automotive News, the next generation of Ford Bronco will receive detachable doors and roofs that can be cleaned into a special niche in the boot. In this case, the side mirrors will be fixed on the front racks, which will distinguish the SUV from its main competitor – Jeep Wrangler.
The Bronco’s prototype viewers claim that the car’s appearance is retro: it has a rectangular radiator grille with the inscription Bronco and round, like the classic model, headlights. It is expected that the market off-road vehicle will debut at the end of 2020.
Information about the new Ford Bronco is still very small. According to rumors, it will retain the frame structure and will be built on the platform of the pickup Ranger. The design of the model will be in the spirit of the Troller R-X 2012 concept. It is also assumed that Bronco will receive a seven-speed manual gearbox.
