Ford Bronco SUV can be ordered with unusual rimsSeptember 24, 2020
The American Ford Bronco Sport SUV in Badlands trim can now be ordered with alloy wheels that look like conventional steel “stampings”. This option costs $ 300
Steel wheels are often seen on budget cars. The utilitarian appearance and oval cutouts of these discs are instantly recognizable, and while they may not win any design awards, they do offer good durability. Which is why it was surprising to see the seemingly conventional steel stampings on the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport SUV because they weren’t part of the entry-level trim.
Now, thanks to a new report from the Ford Authority, we know the stamped Bronco Sport rims are not actually made of steel.
Ford already has a configurator for the 2021 Bronco Sport SUV, where you can choose the Badlands trim. There, Ford is giving customers the option to opt for 17-inch low-gloss gray carbonized aluminum wheels that look like stamped steel wheels. They cost $ 300. and add even more headroom to the boxy SUV styling.
The steel wheels of the Bronco Sport are a sleek visual element that pairs well with the rest of the brutal Badlands SUV – increased ground clearance, etc.
Not so long ago, our publication wrote that the Ford Bronco SUV is now available with a 7-speed manual gearbox. This transmission was added by popular request from SUV fans.
