Ford Bronco badge and launch screen posted onlineOctober 17, 2019
It looks like a horse on the Mustang badge, except that instead of running, it kicks the air.
The latest potential leak of information about the 2020 Ford Bronco is interesting because it seems to reveal the start screen of the new SUV and, more interestingly, its logo. The advice comes from the Bronco6G online forum, which found a YouTube user who uploaded the video from the specified screen. Apparently, the user was able to open the launch screen in version 3.4 of Ford’s SYNC 3 infotainment system.
The video is suitable for walks in the fresh air, and it depicts a bunch of boulders rolling along the slope. They all come together and begin to form the Bronco logo. As we and the forum users noted, the entire animation is a bit long for the start screen and lasts about 14 seconds. This may mean some waiting before you see the infotainment screen or the rear view camera display. But it is possible that the animation begins to play as soon as the door opens or a key is found in the car. This would mean that a few seconds of animation would coincide with being in the SUV and its actual launch, and what was left would not be felt for so long.
As for the logo, it differs from what was announced with the Bronco announcement. The announcement featured the classic Bronco horse logo, which could be seen on the spare tire covers of old models, including the Bronco II. But this launch screen shows a smoother, more modern version. In fact, it looks like a horse on the Mustang badge, except that instead of running, it kicks the air. It looks sharp and it would be a good way to tie Ford enthusiast’s two key cars together.
