The new compact crossover Ford Puma finally got to the conveyor. This was announced on the eve of Autoevolution. According to media reports, all SUVs produced in Romania are intended for European countries. The new Puma boasts a compact size, sporty appearance, increased ground clearance, as well as a roomy trunk – 456 liters. In the model range of the brand, the novelty will take place between EcoSport and Kuga. And experts call Volkswagen T-Roc its main rival.
The new Ford Puma is driven by the EcoBoost liter petrol turbo engine with soft hybrid technology. Its peculiarity is that in conjunction with the main engine, a starter-generator is working, which, thanks to the accumulated electricity, feeds the 48-volt on-board network.
Europeans will be offered a cross with two power options: 125-strong and 155-strong. For each 100 mileage, such a compact cross will spend on average about 5.6 liters. The equipment list of the new SUV has a virtual dashboard with a diagonal of 12.3 inches, wireless charging for various gadgets, as well as advanced multimedia with an eight-inch touchscreen and support for Apple Car Play and Android Auto. The minimum price tag for a novelty in Germany is 23,150 euros
