For three months, Tesla has lost more than 700 million dollarsApril 26, 2019
Experts attribute this figure to a decrease in the number of electric vehicles shipped, a reduction in subsidies for green cars in the United States and their cancellation in Canada, as well as price adjustment.
On the eve of the media there was information that the American manufacturer of electric cars Tesla in the first quarter of 2019 suffered very large losses – the net losses of the brand, according to experts, reached 702 million dollars. In general, from January to March, Tesla products sold 63,000 cars, which is 31 percent less than last year’s sales result. Brand revenue for the reporting three months amounted to 4.5 billion dollars.
For comparison, in the last quarter of 2018, it was about total revenue of 7.23 billion dollars, and a year ago the brand’s profit was 3.41 billion dollars.
Despite the rather difficult financial situation, Tesla management is not in a hurry to change the previously set plans. So, this year the brand is going to deliver 360-400 thousand electric vehicles.
