For the cheapest Tesla developed a carbon body kitApril 16, 2020
The American tuning company iMP Performance has created an aerodynamic body kit for the most budget Tesla model – the Model 3 sedan. It is entirely made of carbon plastic.
The body kit includes a new bumper, unpainted wheel arch extensions, door sills, a large diffuser and a spoiler. Fenders and sills are installed thanks to double-sided tape.
The cost of a carbon body kit is 10 thousand dollars. This is a quarter of the price of the standard variation of the Tesla Model 3 in America – 39,990 dollars.
It should be emphasized that the Model 3 is a 5-seater electric sedan. The debut of the model took place on March 31, 2016. The car is based on the platform on which other models of the brand are built – Tesla Model S and Tesla Model X. Production of Model 3 is established at the main enterprise of the American corporation in the state of California, and Gigafactory 1 in Nevada supplies the batteries and electric motors.
