The auction house Mecum Auctions will auction the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, which has been preserved in excellent condition, despite its age.

The original 1969 Daytona production year debuted one year after the defeat of the Charger 500 in the NASCAR race. Dodge released it exclusively for the victory he won in his first race on the Talladega 500.

A total of 503 copies of the Dodge Charger Daytona were released. The car, which will be auctioned, is located in the US state of Indiana.

As noted in Mecum, this Dodge Daytona has been refurbished. The car itself is painted in red, while the rear wing is white, continuing further along the body with a red Daytona inscription.

Dodge Charger Daytona is equipped with a 440 Magnum V8 engine with a carburetor with a capacity of 375 hp. Together with the engine, automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive system function. Although at the moment the estimated cost of the car is not named, it can be assumed that it will be sold for a 6-digit amount.

In addition, more recently on sale appeared a modernized fastback Ford Mustang 1969 release. The refinement of this car was dealt with by Classic Detroit.
