Fisker plans to release an electric pickup truckAugust 21, 2019
In the near future, two new items are expected in the Fisker lineup, one of which is a fully electric pickup.
According to the designer Henrik Fisker, in the near future two new items are expected in the Fisker lineup, one of which is a fully electric pickup. The exact release date of the truck is not yet known, but obviously this will happen no earlier than 2021.
At the moment, it is already known that a separate electric motor will be installed on each axis of the novelty, and the synchronous operation of the engines will provide the car with four-wheel drive. The pickup will be equipped with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 80 kW / hour, which will allow the car to drive about 480 kilometers on a single charge.
The main competitors of the pickup will be such models as the Tesla PickUp, which is due to appear on sale this year, the electric Ford F150 and the Rivian R1T pickup.
What kind of car will be outwardly, one can only guess. Unfortunately, at the moment, from the numerous teasers of Henrik Fisker, only a small sketch of the rear of the pickup with a large Fisker inscription was seen.
Before the pickup, the company is going to release an electric crossover. It is planned that the crossover and pickup will have the same platform. The model will be equipped with a solar panel built into the panoramic roof. It will also perform the function of a double sliding sunroof, which can be controlled with one touch. The predicted price is about 40 thousand dollars.
