First images of next-gen Honda Civic releasedSeptember 29, 2020
Sketches of the popular hatchback were found in the Patent Office database.
Recently, images of the Honda Civic XI hatchback were found on the network. This is the first idea of the future model that was found in the database of the patent office. The premiere of the novelty is scheduled for next spring, but until that moment nothing was known about her appearance.
Judging by the published images, the new Honda Civic will have sharper edges in the front end, a two-tiered grille, a large air intake in the front bumper, and head optics will change their shape. In profile, the car practically does not change.
At the rear, the hatchback will receive lights connected together by an LED strip, which will make the trunk more square. Overall, the Civic’s design will no longer be as aggressive as the tenth generation of the model. Earlier it was reported that the assembly of the new Civic will be established in the United States. According to unconfirmed official reports, Honda is developing a version of the Type R, which will receive a hybrid power plant with a total output of at least 400 hp.
