One of the leaders of the European market – the Fiat Ducato van – noticeably “freshened up” and got a new line of available engines.
The Italian company Fiat showed an updated version of the Ducato van with the prefix MY2020 in the title. The first thing you should pay attention to when meeting this new product is the motor range, which fully meets all the requirements of Euro 6D. Thus, the 120-hp 2.3-liter MultiJet 2 engine, paired with a manual gearbox, will be the “base” for the new Fiat Ducato. The company will be composed of an engine from the same 140 hp family. with a working volume of 2.3 liters. In this case, the transmission involves the choice – manual or 9-speed automatic.
Two more versions of this power unit give out 160 and 180 hp. There is a 36-hp version that works on methane.
The novelty differs from its predecessor by a redesigned radiator grille and head optics with a new design. The list of available options now includes advanced multimedia with a seven-inch touchscreen and USB-connector, supports Apple CarPlay and Android AutoTM, as well as a number of modern security systems and driving assistants. Napmonim, the Italian Fiat Ducato van has many modifications with different dimensions, which made it the best-selling brand in 12 countries at once.
