Fiat revealed the appearance of a new stylish pickupFebruary 16, 2020

Fiat shares the official photo of the second-generation Strada compact pickup designed for South America. The Italian company adjusted the truck’s advertising campaign after publishing a spy shot. The premiere of the new Fiat Strada is expected to take place in early spring.
According to South American media reports, the Fiat Strada will be a smaller version of the Toro truck and will only be available with a four-door cab, but technically there will be little in common between the two pickups.
Probably the closest “relative” to Strada will be the successor to the Punto – the Fiat Argo hatchback. At the “five-door” truck will inherit a stylish appearance, the concept of the chassis, a five-speed manual transmission and a four-cylinder 1.3-liter power unit. The key difference from the passenger model will be the appearance of a spring rear suspension.
Officially, the Fiat Strada premiere date has not been confirmed, but a recent commercial shot hints that the model’s debut is just around the corner. In the South American market, the new pickup will replace the first-generation Strada, which has been produced for more than twenty years.
The probability of selling a compact pickup truck outside of South America is low: in the Old World, the small Fiat lineup consists of a commercial Doblo heel and a Fiorino van, and the pickup niche is limited to the Mitsubishi L200 “clone” named Fullback.
