Exactly 60 years ago in Italy began to produce a unique pick-up Fiat 500 Jolly. The production was set up by the independent company Ghia, but sales were carried out in Europe, South Africa and even the US by authorized dealers. Now jubilee versions of the car are presented.

In the distant 1958, an unusual car entered the Italian market, which was devoid of roof, doors and classic seats. But despite its unusualness, Fiat 500 Jolly, nicknamed the people of Spiaggina (beach) enjoyed quite a high demand, although it was sold in limited quantities. At that time, the car was produced by the independent company Ghia with the official support of the company. By the anniversary of the unusual model, two special versions of the great-grandson have been prepared.

Thus, the designer Garage Italia tuning studio, and engineering specialists from the Pininfarina studio, with the assistance of official representatives of Fiat, presented the model 500 Spiaggina. The design was answered by the masters from Garage Italia, and the Pininfarina atelier embodied the idea.

As noted in the message Autorevue – “quasi-cabrio 500C, but above the waist line, he had only a safety arc and windshield, the height of which is reduced compared to the usual Fiat 500. There is an alternative with a low deflector instead of a full glass. ”

The rear row was completely removed, and donated for the luggage compartment of the pickup truck. A special feature was the wooden floor in the yacht style, as well as a built-in shower, allowing you to wash your equipment and feet from the beach sand. Front seats also undergone a major change, in their place now flaunts a single sofa.

Despite the extravagant appearance and rather complicated process of alteration, the car will exist not only as a concept. At the moment, a unique version from two tuning studios is available for order. Unfortunately, the deadline for completing the works and the cost has not been announced yet.

In addition, the company also prepared an independent special version of the Fiat 500 Spiaggina’58. The car is a quasi-cabriolet 500c with a few additions. The special version boasts nameplates, 16-inch wheels in retro style, chrome overlays on the body of the side mirrors, two-tone interior trim, and a unique paint for the body Volare Blue.

Under the hood of the car will be installed an atmospheric engine of 1.2 liters with a maximum output of up to 69 horsepower, or a turbo engine of 0.9 liters with a power of up to 85 horsepower. The total circulation will make 1958 copies and it will be the most expensive cars in the factory scale: a minimum of 21350 euros.

Meanwhile, almost one and a half million owners of Chrysler Pacifica minivan of the year 2017 have sued the manufacturer for faulty software. The problem is a sudden stop of the car while driving.
