Fiat has revamped the Tipo family and introduced a completely new cross-version of the model.
The updated Tipo received a revised grille with FIAT lettering, which is framed by new headlights. Along with this, the model has acquired a modified front bumper and additional chrome trim, as well as other rear LED lights and 16 or 17-inch wheels of a redesigned design.
As for the interior of the model, there is a new 7-inch instrument cluster and 10.25-inch screen of the UConnect multimedia system, as well as a different steering wheel. But the main innovation was the release of a cross-version based on the hatchback. This modification was completed with a more rigid body with plastic cladding and more overall wheels. The cross-version was also equipped with an upgraded suspension, as a result of which the ground clearance increased by 4 cm.
Speaking of the new engine range, it is now offered with a new 1.0 liter 3-cylinder petrol engine producing 99 hp. (190 Nm). So, the updated model has become more productive than the current car, which develops 94 hp. (127 Nm). In addition, the restyled Tipo received a modified 1.6-liter Multijet diesel unit with a return of 128 hp. – an increase of 10 hp, and also a 94 hp more environmentally friendly diesel engine.
In addition, it was recently noted that Fiat showed a completely updated modification of the 500 Electric electric car. It should be emphasized that the novelty is a more practical variation of the electric vehicle.
