Fiat hinted at a new Panda concept designerMarch 6, 2019
In celebration of its 120th anniversary, Fiat presented the concept car Centoventi, designed to demonstrate the high potential for individualization of future cars of the Italian manufacturer. It is possible that the car, which debuted at the Geneva Motor Show, also gives an idea of the urban models Panda and the next 500 generation.
In the company, an experimental car is called a “blank canvas”, which allows the buyer to create their own unique car. The 4U personalization program provides a choice of four different roof options, four bumpers and four wheel types.
In addition, the car can be equipped with a panoramic roof or, for example, a soft folding top. A total of about 120 parts are provided for body customization. The Italians noted that in the future, elements will be manufactured using 3D printing and can be ordered directly from authorized dealers.
The salon also has individual settings – the driver will be able to independently choose the optimal location, for example, the audio system, the multimedia display or the stand for the smartphone.
Fiat Centoventi is equipped with an electric motor with a set of batteries that can be upgraded. The design provides three additional cells for batteries, so the power reserve can be increased from 100 to 500 kilometers.
