Fiat Centoventi electric concept will be serialMarch 6, 2020
The Fiat electric car range will expand with the addition of models other than the recently introduced 500e.
One of the cars, the production of which will begin soon, was presented by Centoventi Concept at the Geneva Motor Show in 2019.
“Last year in Geneva we showed our other EV car. We are still working on it – says the head of the company. “This is another approach to the full electric model. So I think that we have a bright future in a fully electric approach to city cars, through the 500e and through a more unconventional approach with these minimalist, cheaper Centoventi cars. ”
The executive also hinted that Centoventi’s production is likely to share the electrical architecture with the new 500e. The concept has been described as a “blank canvas,” and it can be customized both inside and out, offering several options for roofs, bumpers, wheel caps and wrappers.
In addition, instrument clusters and infotainment systems of various sizes will be placed on the dashboard. Depending on the number of modules, a car can travel from 100 to 500 km without recharging.
An electric motor with a return of 116 hp is responsible for powering the new Fiat 500e. The car accelerates to 100 km / h in 9 seconds, and the maximum speed is limited to 150 km / h.
