Ferrari unveils the all-new 600-horsepower RomaNovember 14, 2019
The new sports and luxury coupe is officially unveiled. The Roma is essentially a redesigned Portofino roadster with its own design and hardtop.
Ferrari, as promised, has just unveiled the new Roma coupe. As representatives of the Italian brand describe their model, this is a coupe with the “2+” formula, and with “sophisticated proportions and timeless design”. In addition, the car will receive “unprecedented performance and handling.”
As the power unit, an updated version of the 3.9-liter V8 turbo engine is used, capable of developing more than 600 horsepower and 591 Nm of torque. Paired with him will be working on an eight-speed automatic transmission, presented on the SF90 Stradale. This will accelerate to “hundreds” in 3.4 seconds, and the maximum speed will be 320 km / h.
Dimensions are quite averaged: length – 4 656 mm, width – 1 974 mm, with a wheelbase of 2 670 mm. The weight is only 1,472 kg. Although the company still did not tell what it meant by the phrase “2+”. Perhaps Ferrari Roma will receive as an option a miniature back sofa or bench.
Judging by the photos and the description of the model from the company itself, they orient this model as a practical everyday car. Although the classic Italian character and excellent handling will remain with him.
More information, as well as the price tag, specifications and a list of additional options may be disclosed tomorrow, November 14, 2019.
