According to official data, the Italian brand Ferrari will present a new model F8 Tributo at the Geneva Motor Show, which, in turn, will begin its work next Tuesday, March 5th. Compared to the supercar 488 GTB, the new product will be more powerful by 50 hp. and lighter by 40 kg.
It was at the Geneva Motor Show in 2015, the company Ferrari first introduced the 488 GTB, which became the receiver 458 Italia. This time, the guys will present an even more powerful sports model, called the F8 Tributo. It is known that under the hood of the new V8 engine will appear, which is positioned by automakers as the most powerful of all, ever created by Ferrari.
With 720 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque, derived from a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8, the new F8 Tributo at 50 hp. more powerful (+10 Nm) than 488 GTB.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes only 2.9 seconds (0.1 s faster, compared to 488 GTB). The maximum speed of the F8 Tributo will be equal to 340 km / h – and here the novelty has shown itself from the best side – the “ceiling” of speed is 10 km / h more.
The performance gain was achieved not only thanks to the new V8 engine, which by the way is located in the center of the car, but also due to a decrease in the overall weight. According to official data, the F8 weighs only 1,330 kg. It is reported that the body of the supercar got improved by 10% aerodynamic efficiency.
