Ferrari showed the first image of a new modelAugust 9, 2018
The company Ferrari showed the first image of a new supercar, whose debut will take place at a special event in mid-September. According to rumors, a speedster with an in-house index F176 will be built on the basis of the model 812 Superfast and will receive the official name 812 Monza.
Stylistically Ferrari 812 Monza will repeat the concept car Ferrari Rossa, presented in 2000. The design of the machine is designed by the Pininfarina studio and inspired by the legendary 250 Testa Rossa. Among the features of the car: a low windshield and relief arcs of safety.
There is no information about the power plant. The usual 812 Superfast is equipped with a 6.5-liter atmospheric V12 engine. The output of the unit is 800 horsepower. Combined with a seven-stage robot with two clutches, it can accelerate the supercar to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds. The maximum speed of a two-door is 340 kilometers per hour.
In 2016, in honor of the 50th anniversary of the presence of the brand in the Japanese market, the Italian manufacturer introduced the open supercar J50. The base for the car, which ran 10 copies, was 488 Spider. At the same time in the design of the J50 you can find references to the models of Ferrari in the 1970s and 1980s.
